Lobster Fishermen Participate in saving Coral Reef |

 Coral reef is one of nature component which has important role to reduce global warming. To save coral reef, every party need to pay attention with it, as well as for the fishermen in Tabanan.
Since last year, the fishermen in Tabanan who usually catch lobster used dragnet now shift to use bubu (a trap made from bamboo).
”Its purpose was to save the coral reef and in order not to kill the coral fish,” explained by one of the fisherman figure of Pasut Beach, Kerambitan, I Ketut Arsana.
Though they used bubu, the fishermen still catch many. Besides, the coral reef still safe under the sea and was not scraped, this attempt also useful enough to minimize catching fee.
“Bubu utilizing to catch lobster has been used for one year and the result was satisfying,” he said. |
