The Philosophy of Villa Julius is to combine design and innovation on the Gili paradise islands and to create a small bohemian chic Hotel for today's modern traveler.
The small hotel is situated on the northwest of Trawangan island, nestled amongst palm trees on the beach with breathtaking views and only a short bike ride from where the action is.
Villa Julius offers a perfect balance between splendid seclusion, and being stranded on a tropical island – it’s everything a luxury beach hotel should be, but for the most affordable price.

All the rooms have been meticulously planned to offer the maximum in bohemic luxury, lifestyle living, beyond the privacy that the location offers.
Villa Julius offers two different kinds of rooms:
3 x Superior Sea View Rooms -
Which are located on the first floor of either the front or the back villa. Private terraces offer stunning sea views.
High season rates per room per night are IDR 1,200,000 ++
Low season rates per room per night is IDR 990,000++
4 x Standard Rooms -
2 x rooms located on the ground floor of the front villa and provide outdoor showers
1 x room which is located on the ground floor of the back villa and provides a private terrace.
1 x room which is located on the first floor of the back villa and provides a private balcony overlooking the hotel’s garden.
High season rates per night per room is IDR 990,000 ++
Low season rates per night per room is IDR 850,000 ++
1 x Sea View Bungalow
(seperate to villa Julius but guests have use of the hotel's amenities)
Our new sea view bungalow is located about 150 meters walk from Villa Julius’ main building, idyllically situated among cool coconut tree plantations.
The modern building is set in a private garden facing the sea and offers a large living area including kitchenette with fridge and stove, king size bed, fresh water and fans for temperature control.
The open and airy style of the building ensures good air circulation.
Extra beds can be provided for a family stay but are due to a surcharge of Rp.150.000 per child.
All of Villa Julius’ facilities - including the restaurant and beach area as well as the pool located at the main building - are open to the guests staying in our supplementary bungalow.
High season bungalow rates are - IDR 1,400,000
Low season bungalow rate are - IDR 1,190,000
All the rates stated do include breakfast but are subject to a total of plus 21% Government tax and service charge.
High season definition is the following periods of the year: 15 June – 15 September and 15 December – 15 January
Please note;
As we are currently encountering problems with our air conditioning system thoughout the complex we are offering a discount of IDR 200,000 (USD 21) on all rates per night per room toguests who may be due to stay, from your arrival until the problem is fixed.
Restaurant -
Full service restaurant serving healthy variations of western and Indonesian food. We also offer private beach BBQ’s on request.
